Bev, after the flowers start to fade, I just sheer them off with scissors. I don't allow them to set seed. They look pretty in spring but later in summer they look kind of big and wild. I keep cutting them off. Last fall I yanked and composted most of them. I think I only left one clump. My beds are too crowded and I need the real estate for other things. I figure they are so easy to start that I can always re-sow if I decide I want them.
