Folks,
Please see attached pic for palms that clump but are limited in size. ie: They look like Mexican Fan Palms but are more dwarf like in size and have a nice clump effect.
My problem: I have on two occasions now lost my Pygmy Dates to frost. Even with fleece protection I lost one of my last two replacements after a 20F night in Houston. These in the pic look like an ideal replacement in that they look great and are almost certainly more hardy than the Pygmy date as they are in an exposed location at Houston airport, but what variety are they?
