Yeah, Franklinia hasn't been seen in the wild since the early 1800s? And while it was found in SE GA, they think it originated farther north, because the ones in cooler climes do better. Mine bloomed last year for the first time, but I was out of town during its peak and didn't get pics. My almost-local native nursery sells it.
