Two winters ago, I lost my voice for 4 days (I'm sure my friends/family loved it). The lady at the health food store sold me a jar of Manuka Honey for $25. It lasted me over 2 years, and one time when I wasn't being careful and burnt my wrist getting a pan out of the oven, I put the Manuka on it and it was pain-free in under 5 min and healed within a day.

Now, if I could only afford to replace it! Hilarious!

Meantime, we have a local honey-seller here. I first learned the importance of local raw honey while living in TX -- seems even the most allergen-free folks develop allegies after moving to Texas.

I'm going to retire and live off of my savings. Not sure what I'll do that second week.
My yard marches to the beat of a bohemian drummer...
