Did you water well at the time of planting? I water the hole, to check for drainage. If it doesn't drain, I either fix the drainage or I plant something different. After it drains, I water it again. And then again. I stick the pot into a bucket of water and let it soak. Then I plant the plant and walk away and never water it again.

I just noticed the date of this post. How are they doing?
