82/68 humid, 3" of rain last night! Mowed the youngest daughter's lawn in RST, big storm on the way back.

Cindy, when I first get the amaryllis I force it during the winter, I keep it growing and put it outside when the temps are above the mid 40s. For the previous year amaryllis I water and fertilize when I think about during the growing season. I start withholding water in the first 2 weeks of Sept, than into the basement with the containers, the basement stays in the 40-50 deg range, and its dark. Around Dec I start adding water, approx 1/4 of a cup to the container about once a month, than come spring start all over again.

Found a JB scout today on a common milkweed, dispatched it quickly.
