Thank You! Zuzu. That's quite a list. I wonder how many have 0 thorns. Probably a very small handful.

I will have to try Secret again. I bought it bareroot and planted it, but it lost all it's canes to one thing after another.

I found Windermere this morning, Lynnez. Those are some bushes at the Stanford Mansion! It would be nice if they could all be labeled. Windermere was fragrant...a bit different from most others. I couldn't find Jude the Obscure, although I found the perennial graden and looked for it. Maybe next time.

I also dropped by another garden I hadn't been to yet...the Natomas Rose Garden, that has 550 roses, a lot in bloom in full sun. Not too many were fragrant (and none labeled). A red one that smelled like Mr. Lincoln, but could have been Chrysler Imperial stood out.

In the garden I volunteer, this week Double Delight was as fragrant as ever. It must be getting enough water in this heat!
