Halyna, I have not figured out why the leaf shape changes. I have grown three different plants of 'Rocio' for seven years now. I have watched for new growth leaf shapes changing with the seasons. That thought did not hold as the plants have a mind of their own it seems. Branches on the same bush will flush new growth at the same time, but with different leaf shapes.
