my plants receive only morning sun, so sun is not a problem.Heat I cannot control, about 95-100 F in the middle of a day (in the shade). But all other bulbs in other pots have no problem with that, and all nearby, all getting enough water.
Bulb have several brown outside layers, but if I squeeze the inner bulb, it is too soft, not hard like bulbs in other pots.
