Most orchids are not heavy feeders. Three or four times a year is plenty. Use any fertilizer recommended for orchids. I use Jacks.
If the flowers are displayed in cooler temperatures, they will last a little longer.
Phalaenopsis do best at 60-85 degrees. Temperatures slightly above and below the range are easily tolerated for short periods of time.
