Sticking tongue out Had to learn to fake it when I was working with customer service, making presentations, and such. But I can hermit all I want now. Smiling Think it helps to have a group of people who all have the same interest as you. From what I understand of the Daylily meetings, all you have to do is show up and someone will start talking to YOU and then someone else will and then you start to feel more comfortable and then, away we go...

I'm a technical trainer by trade, so I fake it really well. Hilarious! I can walk into a classroom and take charge with no problem. Or strangers one on one, no problem. Shoot, I spend 2-3 hours/month talking to total strangers who walk by our recruiting booth. But put me in an unfamiliar setting with strangers? Thumbs down Proverbial wallflower.

I guess I need to meet Doris in real life before the next meeting -- guess maybe I should treemail her about that. Whistling
