If you do remove it, you can probably cut the root it shares with the mother plant right in the pot and then pull the determined little pup out from the bottom and stick him back in the pot where he was supposed to grow in the first place. It's a crazy look tho. I would be almost tempted to keep it just for the novelty. Nice and healthy plant.
