Ok, I'll build them a support tomorrow...thanks! Thumbs up
Comfrey tea is quite simple to make. I just chop the leaves (helps them decompose faster) and pack them down in a 5 gallon bucket to about 3/4 full, added enough water to cover them, and cover the bucket with a lid to keep flies out and the awful smell in! Hilarious! The leaves break down really fast...most recipes say it's ready to use in 4-6 weeks, but I started using mine after only about a week. Of course it will get stronger as time goes on. I dilute it 50:50.
I was a little doubtful about its value because even though many gardeners swear by it (one site even said it contains more nitrogen than chicken manure!), there are some that claim it's all a myth. But if it burned the leaves, I'd say it's got nitrogen! Hilarious!
