I finally got my grubby garden gloves on some Clematis texensis seeds Hurray! I have never grown this before. I would love to see photos anyone has and of course any advise on growing from seed. I read clematis takes along time to germinate but none of the articles I could find talked about Clematis texensis specifically. I love clematis but it just does not do well here at all. The plant I collected the seeds from are in full sun with no irrigation on the side of the road by my property so I have pretty high hopes it will do well for me. It looked really good this spring with all the rain but looks half dead now. I almost forgot where it was at. The seed heads are pretty in themselves. I am wondering if I can start them now or wait for spring?
