Gina1960 said:My daughter has had, since she was about 7 years old (she's 24 now) at least 10 leopard geckos. The first one we had lived for about 7 years, and then it developed a brain tumor and we lost it. She went on to collect and nurture several more, and had a really cool one called an Eyelash Gecko. When she was getting close to graduation from college, she knew she was going to have to move into a very very small place, so she began finding homes for them all. But she is determined that when her girlfriend graduates next May, and they decide where they will go to live and work, she will have a huge menagerie!

I have an eyelash gecko, too! I also have a much more... chill leopard gecko. She doesn't do much, but I love her the same as the leo in the pics. My first gecko was an eyelash gecko I got when I was 18, and then I got my first leo Pardus a few months later, and my second leo Orchid not long after. I realized I love reptiles (and pretty much all animals), but that I needed to calm down because while I didn't go to college, I still didn't have enough money or time for more geckos. I would love to have a room dedicated just to my animals, but it is a dream and not a reality, sadly.
Maybe we should get a second opinion...
