The Lost Maples State Park is known for their Bigtooth Maple trees and the rugged hilly scenery. I bought my Bigtooth Maple in the little town of Medina, Texas (about halfway between the town of Bandera and that park). My tree doesn't turn reddish in winter, but instead it's a lovely pale peachy color...it usually shows its color by the beginning of December, so it's one that takes its time. There's one native Texas nurseries in the town of Medina (Medina Garden Nursery) and one closer to Kerrville (Natives of Texas Nursery).
I would feel more optimistic about a bright future for man if he spent less time proving that he can outwit Nature and more time tasting her sweetness and respecting her seniority. E. B.White
Integrity can never be taken. It can only be given, and I wasn't going to give it up to these people. Gary Mowad
