It's all good Robin, I know you do a lot of seed sales and just want to make sure when it comes to daylilies you are calling them by the proper names so nobody gets upset with you in the future. Also you never know who is reading this thread and your photos may provoke someone into buying face paint then when it blooms they may be upset with the hybridizer because their flower don't look like yours.
Since daylilies don't come true from seeds even when crossed with themselves its always good to label seedlings in the garden as such. For unknown pollen parents I simply put the pod parent name followed by OP. The pollen parent always follows the pod so if you know the pollen parent you write the pod parent X the pollen parent. This will help you a lot when you start getting a bunch of named plants mixed in with your seedlings. You may know all this already but again you never know who is reading these threads. Thumbs up
