I have considered it, but decided to try a wormwood plant (Artemisia 'Powis Castle') instead. I dont' want to kill them really, just get them to build their nests farther from where I move around. In just one month it has repelled the wasps from building any nests (and they were really bad about it) up under the porch roof eaves down at our Central Texas cabin property. I'm going to be rooting some more of that stuff to put at all 4 corners of the cabin! I read on the internet it would repel wasps and the dang thing really does!
