Connie, I thought you'd get a kick out of these, I like to take photos of stem and leaf form too but at the time the heat, humidity and mesquitoes were so bad, it was 'click and run'. Both plants had storm damage wiping out many buds prior to photographing.

I've been following this forum for a while (to see if I fit in). I see there is a solid core of interesting people here; each of which I'd love to have as a neighbor! I welcome each of you to click on my info page that I just updated to get a little bit of background of me for starters--and the rest you'll learn about me as time goes on.

On photos 1 and 2, the one I call Old Smokey--I want to try and increase the bud count while retaining as much of the smokey gray and soft pink as possible. Photoes 3 and 4--the soft peppermint one is a good plant overall; I'll cross pollenate it with something. Any suggestions for a pollen partner for either of these?

I don't have any parentage on either of these.
