Until recently, I did not know that there are "bad" ladybugs. A few weeks ago, after perusing different sites that discussed these, I tried to memorize the differences in appearance. Last week I found a dead lady bug on my patio. It may sound weird, but I was saddened by that. Sad Until...I remembered that they are not all good.

So, I quickly ran inside and got a piece of white paper and a magnifying glass. Sure enough there was the obvious "M" signifying an Asian (invasive) variety. So I definitely was very happy that it was not alive! Hurray! Hurray!

Note: not all species of Asian Ladybugs have the M, and there are many different species! Grumbling Grumbling
