Amanda I definitely know the feeling Crying

This was posted by a doctor on NGA when I got my wasp sting

"ASAP, I apply something acidic to neutralize the sting as much as possible. I've chewed up tobacco from a friend's cigarette (nicotinic acid), used vinegar (acetic acid) and lime or lemon juice (citric acid). Then I put some more to saturate the pad of a bandaid and put the bandaid on the sting. Benadryl can help. For those more allergic than myself, I have prescribed steroids by mouth, or an injection of a short or intermediate acting steroid. Ice can be very helpful for reducing swelling, which also reduces the pain."
