You didn't say where you are & haven't filled out any info that usually post in the top right corner.
I think it will do fine as long as it gets regular watering. Mine grow in the ground in full sun with lots of mulch & will faint as a plea for water. Here in zone 9, south Louisiana, we've had regular afternoon rain off & on Spring into Summer this year & mine are 7'. They are versa-color peach. You will have to protect it when frost & freezes come as they will die back & return from roots in Spring. I throw an old sheet around mine & they die back about 1/2 but I've never had them die completely & not return. I hope this helped in some way. Enjoy their wonderful fragrance nodding Trudy
