As a result of their work together, I think they brought about a new color class in daylilies. I have never seen a color of a daylily as Victoria Josephine and the seedling in my avatar (which VJ is a grandparent). It is a like a bright orchid lavender. This color has been consistent with every bloom almost every time it opens in the morning. My seedling does fade in the afternoon but substance is very good.
