Thanks for that confirmation, Alice. I do have mostly sandy loam, and it's a mixed blessing. I'll be sure to add caladiums next year. It seems that planted under trees would be great, as the tree roots will suck up excess moisture. I'll just have to be sure to water during the heat of summer. Thumbs up
