News Flash: By chance I learned that the City of Dallas is having a tree giveaway. Sorry not to have learned of this sooner. Registration started on Sept. 1 and will run through Sept. 30. Only Dallas residents are eligible for a free 5 gal. tree but they must register their choice as well as preferred pick-up location. The link describes which trees are available, etc.
