The invasive Himalyan blackberries are abundant and ripen in August if you're just looking for fruit. I've never been drawn to a cultivated blackberry, but I like the seeds, especially in jam. My son is experimenting with 'training' a Himalyan in his backyard, not sure how successful that will be - he's kept it pruned back and gave it a support to climb up.
I want to live in a world where the chicken can cross the road without its motives being questioned.
