We have hackberry growing here but I don't think it's dwarf, I don't know what species. But I've never actually seen the fruit either. I do know that hubby will hack them down when they grow close to large trees which is often the case. Sad hackberry is a host for the hackberry emperor butterfly as Jim probably knows. Smiling
