Thank you for mentioning the dividing of the plant. I've most certainly noticed that some divide well and dividing others is like, well, sumo wrestling. Its never something I-thought of in the context of a negative trait, But your observation is dead on.

I hate having to send out plants with split crowns ,but with some plants, it is just unavoidable. I'll be mentioning this when it's a factor with a particular plant in the future. Great observation!!

PS yeah, Jerry Nettles left here some years ago too.
