Klara, I have been using Neem Oil for seven years now. I rarely see a bug.
I use a little quart spray bottle. I fill it with water, add 1/4 tsp. Of Neem and 2 drops of dish detergent. I spray everything, up down over and under.
In the beginning I sprayed once. Ten days later I sprayed a second time, and ten days after that a third time.
I did that twice and since then no bugs.
I still spray once a month but not to kill insects because there aren't any. I spray to keep them from returning!!
Neem is good for insects, for mites, as a fungicide and bactericide. AND it is systemic and SAFE to use. I have 2 cats living with me and I would not think of using anything to hurt them or me. I swear by Neem Oil!! I hope that you get a chance to use it.
