And, many nurseries have different names for them too. I remember back in the 1970's I purchased a Croton labeled "Mamey" (that is how the label had it spelled) and I've seen some labels spell the name "Mammey" and nowadays I see them labeled with the spelling of "Mammy". It's very confusing. I had the one called "Picasso's Paintbrush" for quite a few years and lost it to a freeze last winter. I've also seen that one labeled as just Codiaeum "Paintbrush".
