I agree with the comment in your post that more American sycamores are planted throughout the country than London Planetrees, even though the London Planetree is more resistant to disease. Perhaps one reason is simply their availability. I live approximately 70 miles north of New York City, and can't find any brick and mortar nurseries carrying them. All I can find are wholesale and/or on-line nurseries, and even they, are far away. Would you know of any nurseries in my area that actually stock the Plantanus x acerifolia? I only need two. Thanks.
