@avedon, I received a double fan of Kathy Perkins as a bonus plant from Ginny Pearce in 2016 and really like it. The pictures you posted here are from my garden and I absolutely love KP! It has multiplied to 10 fans and the color is as it looks in the pictures. As with a lot of daylilies, the sun does cause the color to fade some by evening. I love every one of the plants that I got from Ginny Pearce that year along with KP. My Wish Tonight (nice white midribs against that dark purple), Sailor Sky (intense color!), and Flutterfest (multiple blooms at one time!) are all great daylilies.
Kathy Perkins is not an early morning opener, so I took advantage of getting this picture before I went to work one day last year.
I don't have any new daylilies to add to my list yet, the list would be very small indeed. Trying to downsize, so am being very particular about adding new ones. Very difficult to do!
