Linda, unless you've had more warmth than we have, those unsprouted jugs might just need more heat to germinate. We've had a few scattered warm days but not many.

Bev, many plants that reseed mildly and politely for other gardeners are a terrible problem for me. I'm trying just a few calendula this year (I think I had 6 seedlings) and a few euphorbia marginata (so far I think 4 sprouts in the jug).Just enough to try. Another new-to-me is cardinal climber (ipomoea X multifida). Time will tell.

Can anyone recommend sterile plants? I'm not kidding. I need to find some pretty sterile plants, or start planting plastic flowers!
