Anne, I have a hedge of mixed single Rose of Sharon trees and they reseed all the time so I always have extra seedlings available, from 2-3 in. to 2-3 ft. They're white, pink and lavender color, most with the red eye and some rays, I can provide pictures if interested. Just thought rooted seedlings might be better than cuttings unless you want named cultivars only.
