Voles, squirrels? Did you get any photos of the damage? Or surrounding area for clues?

Yes, the Rosularia would do very well in a container, that way you can move them around until you find the perfect spot to make them happy, Hurray!

Mine is in all day sun, but we don't have the high humidity along with high temps, like you do. We are quite dry in the summer (low humidity).
