Same here in Maine, Char. After a long stretch of cold and an inch of packed snow (and ice) on the ground, it went up to 50 degrees and rained steadily for two days and one night. All the snow is gone and the long dirt road is back to bare ground. It was icy, so good that it got washed away. Hopefully now it will be just dry snow. Top inch of ground thawed. I was able to get some last minute yard chores taken care of while things were thawed, before below freezing comes back tonight. Could have been the last warm day for a long time - but these days you never know what to expect!
