I have the sheer curtains I can pull over if the light is too intense, but to be honest, my problem is the opposite. Outside that window sits a beautiful Bradford Ornamental Pear Tree, that has very dense foliage in the summer.

That shades that window from a lot of sunshine. So my concern will be the succulents are not getting enough light in the summer. Praying there will be enough. If not, I'm thnking of installing some track lighting and putting in the grow lights with a timer, so they get 8 hours of low energy use grow lights in the summer.

It sounds like you have a tree outside your window too :)
