So far my experience with the rubber is it doesn't like drafts, can withstand temps as low as 60 degrees, likes to be watered thoroughly during the growing periods, likes water less when not growing, and does not like being moved. If you move your rubber it will drop leaves until it is settled again. Sometimes it will not get used to it's new place, so if it is happy where it is don't try to fit things.

It likes a shower daily at least mine enjoys being sprayed gently daily and sometimes I spray twice a day if it is dry enough and the air needs humidity.

Rubbers like light however direct lght is not good for them because they may sunburn. Another tip for having a happy rubber is to put a container of water under it for humidity but do not allow the plant to be in water; use something between the pot and container of water so the rubber doesn't have wet feet/roots.

My rubber is near a window which has closed curtins and is also across from a window with the curtains open. I have had fresh healthy new growthso, apparently my rubber is happy with this arrangement.

I'm going to wait until it gets to be more spring weather before I try propagating my rubber.

I understand that it is possible to propagate rubbers from leaves, however do not remember the details. I also do not remember where I saw this information.

Oh, I did spray my new plants with Basic H which is a shaklee product because I wanted to be as positive as possible that These new plant friends of mine didn''t have any hitch hikers/pests.

Oh, one more possibility for moving the rubber is to do this very gradually. They seem to prefer not having to change, however if they must they probably like this to be done so that they don't really notice there has been a change. Another words; sneak this in on them so they are not startled or shocked. :-)

If I find any other information or think of any thing else, I'll let you know.
