Easy for me to be snarky......I have a greenhouse to help maintain what passes for my sanity! 
Seriously, tho, one year I had put out practically the entire contents of my GH to start the hardening off process. No sooner had I finished than we got a torrential hail/snow mix downpour! Ha, I got soaked and frozen trying to rescue my poor tender little dears! Amazingly, I only lost two or three plants, but I am really careful now!
