Rita, I had thistle out for a long time and the finches would fly right by it to get to the black oil sunflower seeds. Maybe it was the feeder, I will try the upside down kind. Thumbs up

Teresa, the starlings are not a problem around here, I love to see them take a bath, they are so social there will be fifteen of them taking a bath at same time, its so funny! They never go near the feeders just walk around the ground looking for worms and insects. Green Grin!
The crows drive me crazy they bring the road kill and drop squirell parts in my birdbath, also chicken bones from trash cans or nearby dumpsters. They have some idea they can soften a bone if it soaks long enough, last thing I found was a squirrels tail. ewe gross! Thumbs down
