I've had Francis of Assisi for several years now. I have it in a large planter with another daylily. It is a fairly reliable bloomer for me but some years it doesn't do well for me. FOA blooms more mid-late for me. The flowers are always perfect with very few (if any) blotchy blooms. I've had a very hard time setting pods on my clump. Persistence has paid off so that now I am able to harvest 1-3 pods a year. But each pod has a very small number of seeds even compared to other tetraploids. Perhaps it would do better planted in the ground but being so short I prefer it in a planter.
