Yes, it sure looks like the one we saw last night. DH remarked that he also has heard the call they make at night.
It was so weird that he didn't move, no matter how many times we walked by him perched on the gate. We left the backyard lights off tonight, hoping he'd try out our owl house. Sure hope he wasn't injured in the storm....or by daughter's screaming!
