I use GIMP. It's a free photo editor. I really don't know very much about photo editing but when there is something I want to do, I can look up tutorials. Here is the tutorial on how I did this.

The only thing I did different is used the bucket fill tool to add color, between where the instrutions say ( "Ctrl + k" to clear ) and ("Ctrl + Shift + A" to unselect.)
