Daphne, thanks for that advice, but I don't want to have to worry about inhaling the de. As for Warp.... our pet sitter (wonderful person, wonderful care) won't take ANY dog without flea/tick/heartworm protection, and all the vaccinations (including canine influenza).

(Decades ago, before the current oral flea meds were available, we had constant problems with fleas (bathing, combing, flea bombing, flea collars, or not), and it was really too much to cope with. It was such a relief when the first effective flea treatments (applied topically on the back) came out. Even apart from the pet sitter's requirements, DH would never now go back to not using a flea med, those days were so horrible. Besides, Warp is always getting walked, and once off the property, there you are again, getting exposed to fleas.)

Since you are into organic flea control, this may be of interest to you - it's a beneficial nematode that you spray on your lawn to kill fleas. Totally pet safe. https://www.gardensalive.com/p...
Evaluating an iris seedling, hopefully for rebloom
