This is probably a fantastic guess, but ...
Is it possible that these are two plants? For example, the first plant (we see the leaves) and the second plant (we see the fruits).
The second plant may be Tinospora sinensis (T. malabarica).
This plant is a parasite that lives on another plant and at the expense of another plant. And this is a perennial creeper, which has a development cycle and loses leaves at a certain time.
It may not be visible in your photo, but maybe there are two kinds of branches. And the berries hang on old dry branches ...
