Late-midseason here. Very reliable. Large blooms that are extremely colorful, with good substance. I'm sure this would have won major awards had Curt stayed in the award system. A friend in Alabama gushes over this one. Isn't it strange how many in the North are always enamored of southern-bred ones, while ignoring northern ones?

While the colors are vivid, I find that my camera (and many others) exaggerates a bit the brightness of the color distinction.
