You didn't say what part of Florida you are in but the black spots on the leaves of your Desert Rose (Adenium obesum) may be a fungal issue due to wet and cold weather we've had in some parts of the state lately. Shrug!

I know the seashells are pretty but I'd advise removing them from the pot unless you can be certain that they aren't leaching salt into the soil.
