Hi! Smiling I've been on the lookout for a nice gardening forum. This one seems to fit the bill. My name is Jori. I'm 51 and I'm from Oklahoma. I don't work outside the home and I've never done a garden before. I'm very excited about doing my first one this year. I expect to succeed, I'm just deciding right now not to have it any other way. Thumbs up I'm gonna start small, or at least I hope it won't be too much. I'm starting onions, tomatoes, potatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers, jalapenos and yellow meated watermelon. nodding I will be doing most of my plants in containers, mostly because my yard floods pretty bad every year when it rains. I'm going to have fun and open up a new corridor in my life. Super excited about it. Hurray!

I am also very, very excited to meet other gardeners, ones with experience and also ones without. It'll be fun to learn and grow with other inexperienced gardeners. Even though I haven't met anyone yet, I'm already very pleased to meet you!
