Tom, thank you and I'm really glad you like the image. i believe my camera still is very competent, however I hope you will not get too disappointed, or surprised, when I reveal that the camera I used was the Nikon D300, that was released in 2007. Smiling I bought mine new, but today I believe you can get a used, similar or better camera, for very little money.

The 4 photos I made the last last picture of, were actually shot in 2009, but I finished the work with them just this winter. Originally I could not find software to do the focus stacking automatically, but as time moves on, software matures, and now it was a fairly easy stack to perform, with very little manual cleaning up to do. You can focus stack images manually, but it is very time consuming, so that is my defense for having those image around for a decade, without doing anything with them until now. *Blush*
