Hi there, seed-people!
Just got back from a long time away and saw this thread. I've been interested in trying begonia-seed myself, so I also googled the question of how to grow from seed. I found the website below. It tells you almost more about penguins than you cared to know ;-) ! Obviously a labor of love on the part of "Brad" but the instructions, though complicated, are quite clear. He also notes that it can take months to grow seedlings. Light-wise, he recommends at least 14 hours a day, and stresses the importance of sterilizing all materials and containers.

I may just stick to my reliable coleus and pelargonia, coward that I am!
